Introducing our new measuring device!

Gizmo Measurement

If you don't have the time or the inclination to take your measurements, but still want great fitting pants, try our measuring gizmo.

We recently developed this to help people take their measurements without struggling with a tape measure. This device consists of 4 velcro belts that you fasten around your lower torso to record your natural waist, low waist, high hip, and full hip measurements. The Vertical red velcro strap records your rise measurement.

You begin by simply fastening the red belt around your waist. Then fasten the remaining belts to a comfortable fit. The belts are anchored to a cloth backing and are strategically spaced to record your measurements. Once the straps have been fastened, just unzip the center back zipper leaving the velcro belts fastened. We will do the rest. Just mail the device back to us and we will take your measurements off of it.

Of course we will still send you a muslin so you can check the fit before we cut your final product. If you would like to use the measuring gizmo instead of taking your own measurements, just click the "Add to cart" button and submit a deposit of $25 USD toward your custom pair of pants purchase.

Step 1 - Measure your waist

Identify where you'd like the top of the waistband of your pants to sit. Place a piece of scotch tape on your torso to mark this spot. Also place a piece of tape on the back of your torso where you want the top of the back waistband to sit. Use a tape measure to measure your waist passing over the front and back pieces of tape. Record this measurement. Leave the pieces of tape in place.

Step 2 - Measure your front rise

Measure the distance from the tape on your front torso to the center of your crotch. Record this as your front rise measurement.

Step 3 - Measure your full rise

Beginning at the tape on your front torso, pass the tape measure between your legs and up to the tape on your back torso. Record this as your full rise measurement.
